Most of you all who have followed softball would know who this girl is.
Another case in point. Thomas and Julius Jones at one time, lived across Appy High, and went to P.V. Stripes was correct in stating that once a high school athelete establishes his/her "desired" school, that is where they are eligible. The family later moved to BSG near the park after they had started high school. If they had gone to school just one day at Appy High, the would not have been eligible to play at PV. I think that is one reason the Perry wants to move Appy's 8th graders to PVMS, so they would automatically be eligible for PV and not Norton.
It all boils down to the school board designating which school the affected students will go to.
If the Jones went to Appy and MOVED to BSG they would have been able to play when the family moved. The older girls started school at BSG and the rest didn't want to change schools when they moved to Appy.

Heard thru the grapevine that the Barker kid from Keokee has already decided to go to Lee High next year. They also could get Tanner Clark if the grandparents take custody. Should be interesting, don't think either would have a hard time fitting in at Lee High.

OMG someone should warn those kids that Lee is a "Consoladated school" ;)
Re: Appalachia, Powell Valley, and Football
Tanner lives with his grandparents and they have custody already from when his mother passed away. His father and I went to JIB and played sports together, I work with him and he says tanner may move in with him and go to JIB if not he is going to PV.
Re: Appalachia, Powell Valley, and Football
then he'll have to sit a year

Barker, Graham, Anders...that would be one impressive backfield for Lee next year.
